Middletown, NY - Diseases of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck have a profound effect on the health and quality of life of millions of patients around the globe. Recently, Hudson Valley Ear, Nose and Throat, located in Middletown, has announced a new partnership with the American Academy of Otolaryngology—–Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) to ensure the best care for patients with otolaryngic diseases. The AAO-HNS is an organization of nearly 12,000 physicians and allied health professionals whose purpose is improving the quality of care for patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. By participating in 
Partners for Progress, a new AAO-HNS program, Hudson Valley Ear, Nose and Throat has made a significant philanthropic contribution to provide essential resources in support of AAO-HNS programs. The Partners for Progress Program is designed to engage the shared resources of hundreds of AAO-HNS group practices in providing annual donations to advance the specialty by: - Providing young investigators with resources to conduct vital research into better treatments and understanding of ear, nose, and throat diseases
- Conducting the world’s largest educational event for otolaryngologists, where they share the latest scientific advances
- Offering career development resources, financial aid for residents at educational meetings, and facilitating mentors—to attract the best and the brightest to the specialty
- And supporting many other programs designed to empower otolaryngologist—head and neck surgeons to deliver the best patient care.
